After a summer rain, earth worms appear on the sidewalks. It’s fun to feel the worm wiggle on the palm of your hand. You or your toddler may not be too excited to hold a worm, but this finger play is just as fun. Use your finger as the wiggle worm.

“Tiny Worm” by Jean Potter

I saw a tiny worm wiggling on the ground,
He wiggled around making not a sound,
He wiggled here, he wiggled there, and then he turned around.
He wiggled one more time, then went into the ground!
