Keep your preschooler safe in the summer
Have your preschooler spread peanut butter on a pine cone. Pour birdseed onto a paper plate, waxed paper or flat surface. Have your preschooler roll the “buttered” pine cone in the birdseed. When she is done, tie a piece of string to it and go outside together to find the right place to hang it. You can discuss with her why some places will be better than others. Once the completed pinecone is hung, just wait for the birds to discover it and for your child to enjoy watching the birds!
