After reading The Foot Book, have everyone in your family trace their foot. Then, have each family member fill their foot with drawings of their favorite things. To make a foot collage mobile, cut a paper plate into a spiral. Using yarn, string or dental floss, suspend the center end of the plate from the ceiling and hang the foot collages along the remaining part.

After tracing your preschooler’s foot, encourage him to draw a face on each toe. Ask about how each toe character is feeling. Next, depending on your child’s age, cut the foot into a three to seven piece puzzle and encourage your child to put the foot puzzle back together.
