Read the Hungry Caterpillar to your toddler and follow it up with this fun activity.  Using either paint or stamp pad, paint your little one’s thumb.  Have him/her press his thumb on the construction paper several times in a row to create a caterpillar.  Have him/her add feet to each thumb print and eyes to the first one.  Let him/her decorate his construction paper with leaves, and grass.
