Children are fascinated by farm animals and nature but sometimes going to a farm may be impossible or difficult. You can bring the farm home to your toddler by helping him make his own farm. Turn a large card board box into a barn and let your toddler cover the bottom (floor) with straw. Add farm animals, machinery, and people to your barn. Talk to your toddler where food comes from. For instance when you are eating eggs, take out the chicken from your farm and say “chickens give us eggs”.
