Someone in the car says: “I’m going on a trip and bringing a jacket (or any other object)”. The second person has to repeat that and add a new object: “I’m going on a trip and bringing a jacket and a toothbrush”. The next person adds another object. Keep this story going until someone forgets the right sequence.

For older children you can follow the ABCs and the words have to start with the letters in order, or all the words have to belong to a certain category.
