Daily Routine Instills Dependability
Make your own sand timer by gluing two empty pop bottles together at the opening. Fill one bottle ¾ full with sand. Invert the other bottle (with opening of one bottle on top of the other) on to the bottle of sand. Glue the openings together or use heavy packing tape to tape them together. You can glue a heavy piece of cardboard to the bottom of each bottle to provide support.
Use this homemade sand timer to help your toddler with transition time, sharing of toys, etc.
Keep it at child’s eye level and you can even put one of your toddler in charge of setting the time.
