Gather some toys or objects the baby likes to play with (wooden spoon, stuffed animals, socks, hats, etc.) and put them in the container. Ask the baby to take out an object at a time. This is a great activity to help the baby learn new vocabulary, follow directions and practice filling and emptying containers. Let the baby put the items back in the container as you take them out and name each item.
