Sleep is an important part of your baby's development
Make a list of activities that help calm your baby. Each baby is different so what works for one may not for another but by making a list and keeping it handy, your stress level will be lower. The list may include, rocking, walking, a drive around the neighborhood, humming, singing, special toy or blanket. As you try the activity to calm your baby, verbalize what you are doing because as your baby grows, she/he can communicate what she/he prefers to you. The list is also helpful for grandparents and child care providers.
